Mr. Thornhill was born August 16, 1938, in Pine Bluff, son of the late Frank L. Thornhill Sr. and Ruth Dunigan Thornhill. He was reared and received his education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. He served in the National Guard and the Army Reserve.
